Yearbook camp is a fun way to connect with other editors and get ideas from other yearbook staffers. Learning from yearbook professionals really elevates our book and helps us start our year off on the right foot!
- Hannah Johnson
Editor at Miramonte HS & Orinda Intermediate
Yearbook camp is a necessity. I can't imagine starting the school year without having the week of planning, designing and most importantly, bonding with my students. Attending camp contributes greatly to the success of our book. I look forward to it every year.

California Yearbook Academy has been the single most impactful part of prepping each year’s class. My editors gain a sense of ownership, I start off the year leaps and bounds ahead, and all well before school starts.
The selection of classes offered push even seasoned editors to rethink their approaches to design, coverage, photography, and more, but also leave plenty of room for beginners to learn the ropes.
Yearbook Camp is the best investment I make each year. It galvanizes my leadership and provides an early bonding experience that’s effective, productive, and super fun.
