This brought back such a flood of memories! My yearbook photo from eighth grade was a disaster. I’d just gotten a perm, and my hair was this enormous, frizzy halo that completely overshadowed my face. I remember my mom trying to tame it with hairspray, but it was like trying to control a small, fluffy cloud.
